Just For Fun

On MySpace and Facebook, often times there are links for neat applications. For example, what is your old lady name, take an interview, what kind of highschooler were you, etc, etc.  The application usually lets you answer a bunch of questions, and then has some type of generated response. I don't think they could be useful in a classroom setting, but just for fun today...

Answering a random interview,

these were my answers.

1) What, in your opinion, is implied by underscore?

When I think of underscore, I think of it as this random button on my keyboard that I never use. The only time I use this_ is when I need to. For example, in a URL, or in an email title. I really don't use the underscore on a daily basis. I know what it is, I know how it evolved from type writer to keyboard, but it is kind of a silly button that I never use. I don't know what it implies other than creating more white space, or taking a breath in between reading.

2) If you were a shepherd, how many dogs would you have?

If I was a shepherd, I would have 32 dogs.

3) Describe your experience with/ relation to the segway. If none, how do you feel about them?

I don't think they are safe. I don't really like the idea of riding around on anything that doesn't have four wheels that touch the ground. However, I think it was the perfect device to use in the movie Mall Cop. I don't really want to develop a relationship with segways, and I hope I never have to ride one. If it was a life or death situation where I needed to escape, I might change my mind.

4) Hows your family?

My family is doing great. My brother is a boat mechanic in Lake George, and he came home today actually for a visit. I was glad to see him.

My Sister is also well. I saw her last weekend. It was my niece's fifth birthday party. I got her walkie talkies, and after a few cocktails, these were the funniest toys I have ever played with.

My Mom is also well. I live with her, and she's still driving me crazy, like all mothers.

5) Analyze the word 'jiggly'

Oh man. I think of Jello when I hear the word  jiggly. I don't want to analyze it. Jiggly Jello is awesome. I think I am going to leave it at that.

6) Describe your ideal casket.

7) About how many miles do you think you have walked in your lifetime?

7,000 billion? A lot. Yet, then again probably not enough. I should be out walking instead of sitting in this chair in front of the computer. My butt will soon be getting jiggly like Jello. See above.

8) Are your clothes comfortable?

Indeed they are. Since I got up early to write this post, I am still in my pajamas. Gray sweatpants, purple tank top, and a black hoodie. Comfy and Cozy.

9) Please relate, in detail, your level of enthusiasm for insects and why you hold them in such high/low esteem.

I don't mind the average lady bug, cricket, or mosquito....but I really hate spiders. They are creepy, they are everywhere, and they freak me out. I especially dislike Brown Recluse Spiders. My friend got bit by one, and it was not a pretty site. The thing about spiders is you can't always tell if they are dangerous or not. Daddy long legs aren't a big deal to me, but any other ones I smash with my foot as hard as possible.

10) How much cash do you have on you at the moment, and would you be willing to lend it to someone if the asker were desperate?

I have about $85 bucks in my wallet. If someone really needed money I would give them $40. I still need some money for gas and what not, during the week, but I have definitely been in a position before where I was so broke and just needed like $20-$40 bucks to make it through the week.
